One dead and three injured as a UME fire truck overturns in the Las Peñas de Riglos fire

One person has died and three others were injured after a UME fire truck overturned in the fire at Las Peñas de Riglos. The accident is said to have occurred near a track that connects Atares with Jaca, near the Peña Oroel area.

In the town of Atares there has been a presence of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) with ambulance and personnel care vehicles.

The incident has been confirmed by the president of Aragón, Jorge Azcón, through social media: “I have expressed my deepest condolences to the lieutenant general of the Military Emergency Unit for the death of a soldier in the fire at Las Peñas de Riglos”
