The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, has stated that if the information related to the National Police report attributing the crisis in Ceuta to Morocco is confirmed, “it must have obvious consequences in all areas.”

This report holds the opposite of what the Government has defended until now: that there is conclusive evidence that Moroccan agents directed the crowd to El Tarajal, and executed a preconceived plan. While the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, have repeatedly stated that Morocco was not responsible for the assault on the Spanish border on July 30 and 31.
“I really ask myself if it had to be a judge who requested a report on what happened” and “if no one else had asked or suggested to the National Police or our intelligence services to report,” García-Page pointed out in a video sent to the media.
In his opinion, everything published “is relevant”: Until “we know exactly everything that happened and everything that did not happen, frankly we will not be able to fix it.”
