The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, were the protagonists of one of the day’s images upon their arrival at Madring, where both stopped to help attend to a guest who had fainted in the middle of the paddock.

The man is said to have suffered heatstroke, which caused him to lose consciousness while he was in the circuit area. Ayuso and Almeida approached the place and collaborated in attending to the affected person along with the staff responsible for assisting him.
The scene took place upon their arrival at the Madrid venue, on a day marked by anticipation around Madring and the presence of numerous personalities.
The semi-urban circuit, 5.4 kilometers and 22 turns, built in Ifema and Valdebebas, met the scheduled deadlines and will debut in 2026, taking over from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as the venue for the Spanish Grand Prix, Efe reports.
A layout that both Ayuso and Almeida were able to test closely, as they took a lap in the safety car. “I was about to get dizzy,” admitted the mayor of Madrid.

“I was about to get dizzy. The driver pressed a little… in some curves he went from 180 to 80 kilometers per hour and it was complicated,” he joked on Dazn, according to Efe.
“The pit lane is a reality. I just took a lap in the safety car and it was one of the best experiences of my life. We have worked very hard to get here, now it’s time to enjoy. It is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy,” Almeida praised while touring the ‘pit lane’ – pit street – and before visiting the garage of the Spanish driver Carlos Sainz (Williams).
Both received a replica of the special helmet for the Spanish GP from Carlos Sainz, emulating one of his first helmets, in 2005 when he was karting. This was handed to them by Sainz Sr., as his son was finalizing details to get into the car ahead of the last free practice sessions to prepare for qualifying, which will start at 16:00 CEST (-2 GMT).
During the recognition of the Madring circuit, he was accompanied by Ignacio Fernández, director of the RACE Foundation, Institutional Relations, and the Madrid Jarama-RACE Circuit.
