The news of the week is that a Spanish politician has resigned. Could it have been the Minister of Education (ta-da, ta-da) because of the pit of bones where the skulls of our students lie, according to the Pisa report? Cold, cold. Could it then be the Minister of Defense, tired of defending her agents from the attacks of her boss and all her colleagues? Well, cold too, but maybe with a slight fever. And hasn’t the Minister Marlaska finally resigned for commissioning dossiers on journalists to classify them not by ideology (no one in the Sánchez camp would know how to recognize it) but by their degree of addiction to the regime? Ice cold, frigid, snowy like the ash from the crematories where the charred credit of the Interior Minister, who has entered and exited so many times, lies, who today even combs his hair with his own embers.
The one who resigned is a chief of staff. His name is Gonzalo Sanz and he wants to walk again through the streets of his city without having to hide among the makeshift housing solutions on Trampolín beach so that the people of Ceuta do not identify him. A guy who received in time the warning of the risk of “violent border intrusion” (let’s use police technical jargon so as not to scandalize the delicate souls who react to the term “invasion” like the bearded women in Life of Brian to the taboo of “Jehovah”) and transmitted it properly to his boss, the Government delegate in Ceuta, who answers to Miguel Ángel Pérez Triano.
This Triano is an early Sánchez supporter, pure, uncut. His ethical pedigree is guessed in the obscenity of his lies, in the clinical lack of empathy with his governed people, and in the mouse-like cowardice with which he shifts all responsibility onto the weakest link. Such conduct proclaims the zeal with which Pedro chooses his own for positions of responsibility: he carefully selects those who do not know shame. Hence Sanz resigned: the blush burned his cheeks. Well, the blush and a wise fear of Judge Tardón, who has set the heavy machinery in motion and does not seem likely to be intimidated.

By the way, this Triano reached the peak of his reputation this week when, by order of his master, the Dog without a master, he dared to deny the CNI because – he claimed – intelligence reports travel in “sealed envelopes,” as everyone knows. Everyone who has seen The Three Mosquedogs, that is.
Speaking of dogs and masters, there is another chief of staff in the firing line, singled out for the brilliant idea of publishing secret reports that ridicule the boss. His name is Diego Rubio and he is still the chief of staff of the President of the Government, for whom he must be capable of throwing himself off a cliff following the Redondo doctrine. But Rubio has not thrown himself: he has pushed Pedro Sánchez. Not out of patriotism but by mistake. Rubio is no fool, he is just an academic whose thesis on the political usefulness of lying has been disproved by reality. It was not true, Diego. You cannot lie about everything to everyone all the time.
