The forest fires in La Cerollera and Ejulve were declared controlled at 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, respectively, according to the Government of Aragón. The first affected 82 hectares while the second burned 3,000 hectares. Surveillance tasks will continue this Wednesday

The Vall d’Uixó (Castellón) fire has already burned 10,000 hectares and keeps about 10,000 residents evacuated

The fire declared Saturday in the Castellón town of Vall d’Uixó has already burned about 10,000 hectares, affecting Sierra de Espadán, and the perimeter has grown to 75.5 kilometers. However, confinement has been lifted in the urban centers of La Vilavella, Betxí and practically all of Onda, although the number of evacuees remains approximately 10,000 people.

Likewise, it has been decided to extend the evacuation of the municipalities of Artana, Eslida, Aín, Alcudia de Veo, Tales, Alfondeguilla, Fuentes de Ayódar, Ayódar, Torralba, Sueras, Villamalur, Chóvar, Azuébar and Almedíjar. These measures will be in effect until 11:59 p.m. on July 29 and are maintained for the safety of people and the operational needs of the emergency. Of the nearly 10,000 people still evacuated, 309 remain housed in shelters enabled in Nules, Onda, Moncofa and Segorbe.
